I was born in 1985 in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. With my wife, I am now living close to Zurich, Switzerland. I have studied protestant theology, German philology, history and educational sciences at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz. Since 2013, I am scientific assistant at the University of Zurich and do a PhD on the theology of Dietrich Bonhoeffer.
Churches are standing in the midst of our cities. But many pass the open doors. How can we get in contact with people, who – like us – perceive the challenges facing Europe? What food for thought can we offer? With whom should we work together for the good of all? Taking responsibility today means not re-christianising Europe, but working together with all “people of good will” to ensure justice and social peace on our continent. I am looking forward to concretise this thought with people from all over Europe.
