My name is Ulrike Swoboda and I am a member of the Austrian Lutheran Church (Evangelische Kirche A.B. in Ö). I am 34 years old and since 2014, I work as an assistant at the Institute of Ethics and Law in Medicine in Vienna. In my PhD project, I am dealing with the ethical challenges of reproductive medicine. In this context, I am trying to find out about the public ethical profile of protestant churches in Europe dealing with these challenges.
To me, the Protestant Forum for Young Theology in Europe is a unique opportunity for creative thinking processes about Protestantism and its role in European societies. I am confident, that all participants and their member churches of CPCE will benefit from the efforts of the conference.
